It gives me great pleasure to announce, on the 4th February 2022 discussions had taken place in order for a new chairman to take over the role at the BYSA Foundation .
Therefore, on the 6th February 2022 it was made official in having co-chairs for the first time in BYSA history to take this great opportunity. The individuals who need no introduction, namely Professor Paul Cadman and Mr Jimi Shabir have kindly accepted to become co-chairs and offer their time, support and help in raising the profile of BYSA in to celebrating 20th year anniversary.
The co-chairs have already started working in aid of progressing the community project and developments where it is needed.
As interim chair for the last two years it’s been a hard challenge keeping things progressing with the governance, partnerships, networking, recruitment of new volunteers and strengthening the committee as it changed to CIO foundation. It’s been a pleasure to serve the position and look forward to working with the new co-chairs.
