The event of the year the BYSA End of Season Player Awards Dinner took place on 16th May 2025, at Birmingham City FC (Sponsor Suite). The event saw an impressive turnout of over 180 attendees, including players from our competitive boys, girls, men and women’s teams, devoted parents, supportive sponsors, esteemed ambassadors and dedicated volunteers. The event to celebrate 23 years of participating in competitive league football and honouring exceptional players and individuals along the way. The event was graciously hosted by the founder, Anwar Khattak BEM, and commenced with an impassioned opening speech by Chairman Professor Paul Cadman, highlighting the remarkable progress made over the years and setting a vision for the organisation’s future. Further Speeches done by Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Jeremy Dale CEO from BCFC, Ini Omotong from adidas and Kasim Choudhry from Future faces chamber of commerce. The ceremony began by acknowledging our current boys, girls, men and women league teams being awarded on stage, along with our volunteers, Chairmans award going to Kasim Choudhry, Special recognition award to Ini Omotong followed on by a meal provided with quality sound provided by Manj from Purple Square Audio Visual.

Moving on having all the BYSA back staff, volunteers, youth guidance council been awarded the Unsung Heros Award for their hard work and dedication over the years. A special award handed to Jibron Faisal (player) for his outstanding performance over the season.
The event reached new heights for the under 14’s boys team victorious in the league vase cup and coming 2nd position in the league, The Under 18’s coming 2nd position in the league, The adult team coming 3rd in the League and open cup reaching the Semi-Finals, The Under 13’s/Under15’s girls team were league winners. These remarkable achievements were celebrated with the lifting of the winners trophies by the teams, acknowledging the efforts of all teams and coaching staff and managers.
